The hardened blade – which is rare for a mincing knife – is characterized by a particularly high and long-lasting sharpness. The two ergonomically designed handles ensure safe handling and an optimal transfer of strength. This single blade chopping knife allows very precise chopping and perfect control over the coarseness of the minced goods. Compared to a double blade mincing knife, a single blade knife is also easier to clean. The Mezzaluna is handcrafted in Solingen, Germany and carefully sharpened by hand in a multi-step process, where the final honing is done by hand on the sanding belt. To retain its original sharpness, it is recommended to wash it by hand.
